Directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, ‘Catfish’ is a documentary, showing us the dangers and threats of the online and virtual worlds, like that of Facebook, and how online friendships can take a turn.
Plot-
The movie starts with a photographer befriending a small girl on Facebook who is 8 years old, when suddenly, this innocent friendship turns into a creepy and threatening place.
Analysis-
This documentary shows to you what any film elaborating the dangers of the social network would.
Star Performances-
The artists have done an exceptionally well performance in this documentary, showing the consequences of the social network.
Verdict-
Since it’s a documentary, it has poor visuals and sounds, which are quite evident. However, this film opens our eyes to the reality of social networking, and how it can prove to be life-threatening in some cases. This is a one intriguing movie.
