. There is one thing in common between Arthur and Naomi. It is the wanderlust and love for pleasure in life. Naomi likes Arthur for his stand on life, and also knows what he could become. So, she boosts his morale and explains to him that he should adamantly stand up and get his right share of anything. But, the stakes are rather huge. Then, his grandma comes to his aid. She believes he could resolve anything, and Arthur starts playing higher stakes in life. He gets to know one thing for sure – what it requires to be a man.
There is humor aplenty in the movie for the first 45 minutes. The dialogues send across huge guffaws in theaters. But, some of the scenes appear like patchwork. Also, the snobbishness is seen in grandma and the reason for his turning up at Alcoholics Anonymous appear not very interesting. Wanting to know why Arthur drinks does not work out for a lover of comedy movies. The movie made efforts to include the best features in it, but the recipes are less. This leaves the viewers disappointed.
Verdict: The movie Arthur lacks the life in it.
