Plot

Arthur Curry is the son of Queen Atlanna and Tom Curry, a lighthouse keeper. Atlanna leaves her son and returns to Atlantis, the Underwater Kingdom. Arthur didn’t go in search of his mother, but stayed in the land, until Princess Mera met him. Mera explained him about the threats in the underwater world and left him to decide whether to stay in the land or get into the sea. He decides to get in as the son of the Queen and after getting in, he had to face a lot of challenges. Arthur has to build trust and has to prove that he is their wall. Did he succeed in gaining the trust of the people? What threat did they face? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Jason Momoa fit in the role, well. Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, Temuera Morrison, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe and all the other stars had done their best. In fact, the performance of the stars had hidden some minus points.

Analysis

To be frank, the script and the screenplay has nothing significant to offer, but the narration and the CG works are the best parts in the film. The cinematography is astounding, especially in the action sequences. The stunt choreography is at its best. A romantic scene is inserted forcefully and it doesn’t fit in the narrative. The BGM, editing and the production designs are excellent.

What’s There?

  • CG work is excellent and it takes us to the underworld
  • Cinematography, BGM and editing are good
  • Narration is impressive

What’s Not There?

  • Forced romantic scenes irk the audiences, as it affect the flow of the film

Verdict

Aquaman would have been much better, if they had cut the forced romance scenes. However, the film excels in its CG, cinematography as well as the performances. Aquaman – Fresh in its narration
