Plot

Mike Banning is a secret service agent. He has been getting training under military service. As the Secret Service Director David Gentry is getting retired, Banning is suggested for the post. When he was offered the post, he hides that he suffers from insomnia and migraines. But, he takes medicines to get freed from the pain. When President Allan Trumbull goes for fishing, Banning accompanies him. When the armed drones attack them, Banning saves Allan, but he goes to coma. Banning was suspected for the attack and he was arrested. Banning escapes from the place and goes to his dad’s house in the jungle. Before he enters the woods, he informs his wife that he is alive. Did his father help him in solving the issue? Who attacked the President? Watch the film to know the rest.

Star Performance

Performance of the stars is quite decent.

Analysis

The film has nothing new in its plot. The exciting part of the film is the relationship between Mike Banning and Clay Banning. The plot is outdated and the screenplay is not much impressive. The CGI works are unimpressive. Similarly, the dialogues are not attractive too. The characterization should have been better. With a good set of actors, the makers missed a performance show.

What’s There?

  • The star cast is impressive

What’s Not There?

  • Plot is outdated
  • VFX works are not up to the mark
  • Screenplay and the dialogues could have been better

Verdict

If the dialogues had been better with a few more interesting scenes, the film might have been impressive. Yet, it is watchable once!
