,” the popular lyricist of Kollywood, stated that during the crisis time, not only the government should help, but people who are willing to could also serve the society. He posted on his Twitter page, “அரசு மட்டும்தான் அருள் செய்ய வேண்டுமென்றால் அறமென்பதெதற்காக? ஆணிவேர் மட்டும்தான் நீர் வழங்க வேண்டுமென்றால் பக்க வேர்கள் எதற்காக? #TNGovt #coronavirusinindia #Corona.”
Vairamuthu recently wrote a letter to the Tamilnadu government that if they need any treatment centers for coronavirus pandemic, they could utilize his wedding hall, Ponmani Maaligai. He posted, “கொரோனா நோயாளிகளின் சிகிச்சைக்காக எங்கள் திருமண மண்டபத்தை (பொன்மணி மாளிகை) அரசுக்கு ஒப்படைக்கிறேன் என்று முதலமைச்சருக்குக் கடந்த வாரம் கடிதம் எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். நாட்டின் நலமே நமது நலம்.” Let’s hope that the issue will settle soon!
