When Munusamy, a 70-year-old man, was trying to cross the road in Teynampet, Chennai, a car hit him. He was immediately rushed to a hospital and admitted to the ICU. But, he died as his body couldn’t recuperate. It was revealed that the stylish actor “Silambarasan” owns the car that collided with the man. Simbu was not in the vehicle during the accident, but his father “T Rajendar” traveled, and Selvam drove it. After the old man’s death, Selvam was arrested, which made Simbu get a place on the headlines. In the professional front, Simbu was last seen in “Maanaadu” with Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Surya, YG Mahendran, SA Chandrasekhar, Vagai Chandrasekhar, “Karunakaran” and Premgi Amaren, directed by Venkat Prabhu.
