Varisu Tops The Kerala Charts!

“Varisu,” the Pongal release of “Vijay,” was directed by Vamsi Paidipally. The film produced by Dil Raju has “Vijay,” Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, “Jayasudha,” Meka Srikanth, “Shaam,” Sangeetha Krish, Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, and many others. S Thaman composed the music, and the songs were already a hit. Vijay has a vast fan base not only in Tamilnadu but also in Kerala. The Pongal release film has grossed Rs 10 crore so far, and this is one of the highest Rs 10+ crore collections for Vijay in the Kerala box office.

Apart from the Mollywood stars, Vijay movies do well at the box office, and this is the highest collection for any non-Mollywood star in Kerala. Ajith Kumar starrer “Thunivu,” directed by “H Vinoth,” released on the same day. The film that has Manju Warrier as the crime partner of Ajith is also doing well at the box office and is said to have collected Rs 4.5 crores.
