, the Mollywood actor posted on his Twitter page, certain things about the death of the elephant. Here are those explanations: the pregnant elephant was not intentionally fed with the firecrackers inside the pineapple, but it accidentally ate the fruit.
The fruit, filled with explosives, was kept for wild boars that attack the crop fields. Although it is illegal, this is the only method the people used to keep off the animals to save their crops. It was wrongly mentioned as Malappuram, but the incident happened in Palakkad. Besides this, someone had started spreading the issue with some communal connection, but there is nothing related to that.
It is also to be noted that the police department and forest department have registered the cases and they are investigating. As soon as the forest department officials were informed about this incident, they immediately rushed to rescue the elephant, but it went in vain. The incident happened on 27th May 2020 and not in June.
