Many called Irrfan’s death as their personal loss. Lots and lots of celebrities, who had moved with him, watched his performances close, lost their words and went emotionally.
Irrfan’s wife, Sutapa released a press statement along with her sons, Babil and Ayaan. She stated that she couldn't say it a family statement, as lakhs of people stated that Irrfan is their family. Even in this tough time, she didn’t lose her confidence and stated that it is not a loss, but gain, as Irrfan taught them a lot. She also stated that Irrfan didn’t love the world with one-dimensional reality. She also spoke about the doctors in India and abroad, who treated Irrfan. She mentioned them as amazing people. She also wishes her children Babil and Ayaan to sail in the boat safely with their father’s guidance.
