Steven Spielberg, the famous Hollywood director, feels disheartened as the OTT platforms ill-treat the filmmakers. It is also heard that he specifically mentioned HBO Max. Due to the pandemic in 2020, almost all the films were released on OTT Platforms. The pause in the theatrical releases caused a massive loss to the filmmakers. The filmmakers released them on OTT to make at least some money from their ventures. Using this opportunity, many OTT platforms raised their subscription. While speaking about the subscription, Spielberg mentioned HBO. Though the OTT releases are useful for the older audience, they lose the theatrical experience, stated Spielberg. Started his career in the 1964 movie, Firelight, Spielberg turned world famous with Jurassic Park, that hit the screens in 1993. His latest movie is The Fabelmans, released at the Toronto Film Festival in September 2022 and theatres today.
