Attakathi is about Dinakaran who joins college and becomes the leader of his friends group and he is in love with Purnima, and her parents disagree with it The story is predictable like any other usual Romantic movie. There seems to be no twists and also there is a lack of emotions. The first half though was hilarious but the second half got lengthy said the critics.

Starring 'Ajith Kumar' with the signature dialogue “I Am Back” Directed by Chakri Toleti, the film was all hyped up due to its exposure to the previous version that broke the box office record. Sadly, the only man that was on work was the actor himself. The team failed to impress the audience. The choice of heroine's according to the critics did not fit in. The movie's music director Yuvan Shankar Raja could have worked a little more. It's very sure that the crowd was not pleased with the cinema. "I am back" was lost in Billa.
The film set foot into the Tamil industry as a tribute to 100 years of Tamil Cinema by the director 'R Parthiepan'. The film excited the audience with its eye catchy title. A group of youngsters decides to make a script and shoot a movie for which they try finding a story. The film failed to make its way into the box office as it doesn't have a story to say. The reason was that the team finally agrees to the plot, but they required a produce. It failed because most of the producers prefer a box-office hit rather than a National Award Winning film. Surely there was let down by the actors, who seem far less passionate than the director.
David is directed by Bejoy Nambiar. ‘Jiiva’ and Chiyaan Vikram with ‘Tabu’, Lara Dutta, Isha Sharvani and ‘Nassar’. The movie is about two different people with the same name as David whose lives are about to change after taking a step. In its Hindi version, the heroes were same and it carried the feel of being a dubbed movie. There was also inconsistency with the dubbing timing in Vikram’s story. The film also had a lack of the nativity and pace.

A movie that tests the humanity left in this world full of greed and dishonesty. Sundar C directed the film where ‘R Madhavan’ who is an ad-maker travels to Bhubaneshwar for his business trip. He meets a passenger Nallasivam and befriends him. The major critic of the movie is that the Public never understood its crux. The film was though a good plot it failed to interpret it in a way people would understand. Many seemed to misinterpret it and this was the reason.
Sura is a movie that gained major criticisms and mocks from the public directed by S. P. Rajkumar, with the film industry concentrating more on crime and thriller. Sura gained no fame due to its theme being too predictable. If not for humor the film would not even have got any recognition also the story is outdated, and the sequences repeated. This cinema is about a fisherman who rebel's against a minister to save the lands from being occupied by him. The film focuses on how the hero manages to build the house and destroy the plans of the minister.
8. Raththa Charithram
Rathasari thiram is about Surya trying to take revenge on Prathap Ravi for methodically wiping out his entire family. The plot is written by Prasanth Pandey, and Directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The movie is a Telugu remake which eventually lost importance in the Tamil cinema industry. Though Surya made a good appearance in the story, it did not meet the expectations that it could make its debut at the box office. It is too much of violence and gore. It is not a film that gets into Box office as it gained more criticisms than praise. It is seen having an endless screenplay and unwanted scenes.
9. "Ayitha Ezhuthu"
A film that makes the blood in the youth boil. Aayudha Ezhuth is a story directed by Mani Ratnam. Michael opposes the intervention of Selva Nayagam, who is a politician in his college election. Michael plans to enter the election and defeat Selva Nayagam. The story focuses on whether he will triumph eventually. The problem with this film was that Michael’s motivation to gather youth and enter politics was missing. Cleansing politics does not just happen by having new people into politics in the real world. It did have the Mani Ratnam’s signature scenes in it.
10. "Jil Jung Juk"
Jil Jung Juk is Tamil film directed by Dheeraj Vaidhya. The cinema failed to make its debut at the Box office because the script was not as good as the visual representation. The climax is long. The dark comedy failed to meet the people’s expectation because it interests the male as it deals with drugs and mafia and usually does not interest the ladies and the kids. The movie failed because of its ordinary screenplay. The film lacks a sense of comedy.
