8. Chinna, Karthi – Perazhagan

In this 2004 movie, the lead actors, Suriya and Jyotika, play a dual role. This film is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Kunjikoonan. 'Chinna,' a hunchbacked phone booth operator, loves a blind street dancer and wants to help her regain her sight. Kartik, his lookalike, is a constable in love with the commissioner's daughter is the plot of this movie. This Vikram K Kumar directed Sci-fi movie has Suriya playing the roles of Sethuraman, a genius scientist who invents a time-traveling watch; Manikandan, A watchmaker and the son of Sethuraman and Athreya, brother to Sethuraman who wants the Watch to himself. These triple variations of Suriya got highly praised by critics and audiences alike.
