1. Krishna Abhishek:

Born as Abhishek Sharma, Krishna is a famous comedian who is currently hosting the very famous show, ‘Comedy Nights Live’. While the 35-year-old actor has made a name for himself in the television industry, he never fails to milk his uncle ‘Govinda’s stardom. Krishna has also done a few films, like ‘Bol Bachchan’ and ‘Entertainment’ for which he received apt appreciation. He has participated in dance reality shows like ‘Nach Baliye’ and ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 5’.


2. Shakti Mohan:

Playing the role of Kria Ghai in the Channel V soap opera "Dil Dosti Dance", this young actress and dancer has already carved a name for herself among the Indian youths. Making her television debut as a contestant on the hit dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance Season 2’, Shakti went on to win the show and 5 million rupees from Zee TV along with a Suzuki Wagon R. Although she is the younger sister of the famous Bollywood singer Neeti Mohan, Shakti has never needed to cash in her sister’s name. Her dancing talents speak on her behalf.


3. Rohit Roy:

Born to a Bengali family and known for starring in daily soaps like, ‘Kkusum,’ ‘Bhabhi’ and ‘Swabhimaan’, Rohit Roy is the younger brother of famous television and film actor Ronit Roy. He is also the brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi. Rohit has also acted in Bollywood movies like, ‘LOC Kargil,’ and ‘Fashion’ among others. ‘Dus Kahaniyaan,’ an anthology film features a short film ‘Rice Plate’ directed by Rohit. He is married to actress Mansi Joshi. Rohit has also participated in a few reality shows as a contestant as well as a host.


4. Ruslaan Mumtaz:

Son of actress Anjana Mumtaz, Ruslaan made his debut in Bollywood with the movie Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar in 2007. Sadly, the young heartthrob’s Bollywood career did not garner him much success after working in quite some commercially flop films and like many of his contemporaries, he turned his attention to the small screen. He made his debut in the television world with the lead male role in ‘Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara’ as Dhruv. As of now, Ruslaan can be seen playing the role of Krish in Colors TV’s most popular serial, Balika Vadhu.


5. Aarya Babbar:

Aarya Babbar of Bigg Boss 8 fame is the eldest son of actor-turned-politician Raj Babbar and his first wife Nadira Babbar (theatre personality). Aarya started his career in Bollywood but after a sleuth of flop movies he finally turned his attention to the small screen, where he plays the role of Lanka Naresh Ravana in the hit Sony TV’s program "Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman". He was also nominated for the Most Promising Newcomer - Male category at the Star Screen Awards, for his portrayal of the role of Abhay/Karan in the film ‘Ab Ke Baras’. Aarya won the National Award of the Journalist Association for his role in the movie ‘Ab Ke Baras,’ as an ‘Upcoming Actor in Action’.


6. Anup Soni:

As host of the immensely popular Sony channel’s "Crime Patrol - Season 1", "Crime Patrol - Season 2", and "Crime Patrol Satark" Anup Soni has it all. He has not only worked in television but is also a Bollywood actor, a model, an anchor, and a politician. He is also the son-in-law of the very famous actor and politician Raj Babbar. Anup made his debut on the small screen with serials like ‘Sea Hawks’ and "Saaya". After working in television for a while, he took a break to appear in the 2002 Bollywood movie ‘Kharaashein: Scars from Riots.’ But being a small screen actor at heart, Anup returned to television to work in the CID spinoff- CID: Special Bureau.


7. Preetika Rao:

People may have forgotten about the once award-winning Bollywood actress Amrita Rao; but her younger sister Preetika Rao is now a household name, thanks to her role as Aaliya Zain Abdullah in the Colors TV’s primetime show ‘Beintehaa’ which aired from 2013 to 2014. Preetika is a model, writer, and singer. She also worked as a journalist for many newspapers. Preetika, to pursue her studies, rejected many big offers from Bollywood like "Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na" and ‘Aashiqui 2’. She had also worked in some South Indian films before moving on to television. Preetika also won the Best Actress Award at Kalakar Awards and the Zee Gold Best Debut.


8. Ishita Dutta:

Known for playing the role of the female lead Poonam in Star Plus’ romantic drama serial ‘Ek Ghar Banaunga,’ Ishita Dutta is the younger sister of former Femina Miss India (2004) and Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta. She has worked in some South Indian movies too along with the Ajay Devgn starrer 2015 action drama film ‘Drishyam’. She can now be seen in "Baazigar"opposite Vatsal Sheth of ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ fame.


9. Ragini Khanna:

Being a famous actress herself, Ragini Khanna also belongs to a family comprised of some big names. She is the niece of the famous Bollywood actor Govinda and a cousin of television actors Krishna Abhishek, Aarti Singh and Soumya Seth. Her mother is Kamini Khanna, a writer, singer, and anchor among other things. Amit Khanna, her elder brother, is also an actor. Ragini is also the proud granddaughter of the classical singer Nirmala Devi. Ragini made her debut with the 2008 NDTV serial ‘Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi’ and rose to fame with the television shows ‘Bhaskar Bharti’ and ‘Sasural Genda Phool’. She also participated in many reality shows as a contestant as well as a host.


10. Surilie Gautam:

It’s not easy being the younger sister of a well-known Bollywood actress, but Surilie Gautam has no ill feelings for her elder sister Yami Gautam. She believes in working hard and earning a name for herself on her own terms. Born in Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Surilie is the youngest daughter of director, Mukesh Gautam. She won her big role as Geet in the 2008 Sony TV’s "Meet Mila De Rabba". In 2012, she starred in a romantic comedy Punjabi movie, “Power Cut” opposite Jasraj Singh .


11. Purbi Joshi:

Actress, voice actress, comedian and host Purbi Joshi is the daughter of National Award- winning actress Sarita Joshi and actor Praveen Joshi and sister of Ketki Dave. She is also a cousin of Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi. After a decade-long career in the television industry, Purbi has worked in television serials; Bollywood movies, reality shows as well as several comedy shows. Her film career also includes ‘Ghoom’, MTV’s first spoof film of the mega-hit Bollywood film Dhoom.


12. 'Ketki Dave':

The evergreen Daksha Chachi of ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ fame, whose "Ar-Ra-Ra-Ra" catapulted her to fame almost overnight, is a famous small screen actress along with a plethora of roles in Hindi cinema. Ketki is the daughter of the actors Praveen Joshi and Sarita Joshi and elder sister of actress Purbi Joshi. She is also a cousin of Sharman Joshi. The 55-year-old actress is married to the actor Rasik Dave. Ketki has also participated in a few reality shows like “Bigg Boss Season 2” and “Nach Baliye” among others. She has worked in television serials like ‘Hasratein’, ‘Behenein’ and ‘Pavitra Rishta’ among others.


13. Purab Kohli:

Purab made his debut with the Zee TV show "Hip Hip Hurray!". But his fame is through video jockeying on Channel V. He also participated in ”Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7” in 2014 as a contestant. While he has done a lot of television work, Purab is also quite active in Bollywood. But what many people don’t know is that he is the nephew of the famous filmmaker, Shekhar Kapur.


14. Karanvir Bohra:

Famous for playing the role of Yudi/Prem, the estranged son of Prerna in Ekta Kapoor’s mega hit serial ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay,’ Karanvir Bohra is a television actor who has acted in many TV soaps. He is the grandson of actor/producer/filmmaker Ram Kumar Bohra . Producer, Sunil Bohra is his first cousin. He also participated in the celebrity-studded dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 4’ as a contestant with his actor/VJ wife Teejay Sidhu. Karanvir was nominated as the Best Actor in a Negative Role for his acting prowess in both ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and "Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?" at the Indian Telly Awards and Indian Television Academy Awards. He won the award for the latter.


15. Nimai Bali:

Very few television actors can claim to be established villains, and Nimai Bali is one of them. Nimai made his debut in the mid-90s as Surya in the popular fantasy series "Chandrakanta"+ (1994-96). He has also appeared in a positive role as Pratap in Sony channel’s CID: Special Bureau. What many people don’t know about Nimai, is his connection with the “Dutts” of Bollywood. His maternal uncle is the late Sunil Dutt and by extension, he is also a close cousin of Sanjay Dutt. Nimai is married to the former Miss India and actress Sahila Chadha.


16. Supriya Pilgaonkar:

Supriya is a noted television and film actress, director as well as a producer. She is the wife of the famous director Sachin Pilgaonkar. Supriya rose to fame in the mid-90s for her role in the television serial ‘Tu Tu Main Main’ as Radha Verma. Her other famous serials include ‘Sasural Genda Phool’, and ‘Kadvee Khattee Meethi’. She also participated in and won the dancing reality show ‘Nach Baliye Season 1’. Her daughter, Shriya Pilgaonkar, starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the movie ‘Fan’.


17.'Aarti Singh':

It would seem every one of Govinda’s nephew and niece is an actor. Aarti Singh is another one of Govinda’s niece who has made it in the television industry. Sister of comedian Krishna Abhishek, this beautiful actress has worked in many television serials. She started her career on television with the role of Soni in the program "Maayka", but gained popularity for her role as Seema Chopra in the TV serial "Parichay".


18. 'Soumya Seth (Navya)':

Another member of the Govinda family, Soumya Seth is best known for her role as the protagonist in the television serial "Navya" which aired on Star Plus. She is Govinda’s niece and by extension Krishna Abhishek’s, Amit Khanna’s and Ragini Khanna’s cousin. Her mother, Veena Seth is a theatre actress. In 2011, Soumya won the Taaza female award at the BIG Television Awards followed by the Best New Actor in a Lead Role Female at the New Talent Awards for her work in Navya.


19. Supriya Pathak:

Supriya is a veteran television, film and theatre actress. Her portrayal of Hansa Parekh in the sitcom, Khichdi, is one of the best examples of acting in the television industry. She played the role of the matriarchal head Dhankor Baa in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s superhit movie "Ram Leela" and was hugely applauded for her work. She is the younger sister of Ratna Pathak, also a television, film, and theatre actor. She is the second wife of Bollywood actor Pankaj Kapur and step-mother to the actor Shahid Kapoor. She is also the sister-in-law of Naseeruddin Shah. Supriya began her career in the film industry with the critically acclaimed film Kalyug released in 1981. She also played a small role as the niece of Mahatma Gandhi in the highly acclaimed biopic "Gandhi" (1982) and starred in the French film, ‘The Bengali Night,’ along with Hugh Grant.


20. Ayub Khan:

Ayub Khan is both a Bollywood as well as a television actor, although he is known for acting in television mainly. He is the son of veteran actors Begum Para and Nasir Khan. Zarina, his mother's sister, is the mother of Rukhsana Sultana, and grandmother to actress Amrita Singh. He is also the nephew of legendary Bollywood actors Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu. With a career spanning over two decades, Ayub Khan made his debut in the television industry with Mahabharat and went on to perform popular roles like that of Jogi Thakur in Uttaran and Manindar in ‘Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.’
