PV Sreeram Reddy

Pinninti Veera Sreeram Reddy was a Telugu producer  as well as an executive. He was born on 12th April in 1962 on Sri Rama Navami day. He was a resident of Nellutla village near Jangaon in Warangal district, Andhra Pradesh. He has two sons named Mahadev and Mahipal and wife Smt. P.S. Sathya Reddy. He was a great producer. Unfortunately, he died on 1^st April 2015 in Mumbai due to severe heart attack. His death was a shock to the cinema industry. Sreeram raided into Construction business and then became a successful executive. He shifted from his hometown to Mumbai for a long time.

Sreeram was very passionate about films. His love and determination for the movie making were one of the reasons, which forced him to start up his production house named as Cine Nilayam Creations. Red Alert was released in four different languages, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada simultaneously. Post production and other works were almost done, then Reddy’s death stunned his family and film unit. After the release, the movie was a super hit. This movie grabbed a place in the Indian book of world records because of the multi-national languages. It was Reddy’s big dream to see Red Alert as a successful movie. The team members of this movie paid tribute to late Sreeram Reddy.

Members of cinema industry were very grateful to him. P V Sreeram Reddy was a virtuous person. Reddy was to introduce new directors to the industry. However, his unfortunate death was a big loss to the industry. He was planning to produce other films in future. Firstly, he planned to do with senior director Vamsy, songs recording, and composition by Ilaiyaraaja. Secondly, the next film was named as Ee Cinema Super hit Guru. Had he been alive till date, he would have created a benchmark in the film industry using his adroit mind.
