Gopichand is a Telugu actor and the son of the Filmmaker Krishna. He had a brother and a sister. When Gopichand was a child, his father died. Gopichand completed his schooling in Chennai and graduation in Russia. When he was in Russia, his brother died in a road accident. His sister is a dentist and settled with her career. Later on Gopichand decided to enter the film industry and hence he joined the dialogue modulation course. His first movie as a hero failed to hit the box office and so he decided to do villainy roles. He acted in Jayam as a villain and the movie was a super hit and it was remade in Tamil in the same name. He did the same role and got a good name for his villainy appearance. Â The role showed him as a horrible villain, who is a psychic. After a few films as a Villain, he started to act as a hero. Yagnam, Andhrudu, Ranam, Lakshyam, Ontari, Souryam, Wanted, Mogudu, Loukyam and Sahasam were his hit movies. His latest movie is jil. Recently he got married to Reshma. Reshma is the niece of Telugu actor Srikanth. His lucky heroine is Tapsee, as the films with her were super hits.
