Mamathi Chari is a renowned television anchor, radio jockey, and an actress. She started her career on STAR Vijay’s popular talk show, Hello Tamizha. Mamathi was born on  December 21, 1978, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She studied at Sacred Heart Matriculation Higher Secondary School and later attended I.P Pavlov, where she graduated Medicine. She appeared in television shows like Jillunu Oru Jodi, Jillunu Oru Challenge, and Rani Maharani. She is currently playing the antagonist role as Kokila Swaminathan on Sun TV’s Tamil soap, Vani Rani. Mamathi has worked for television channels like Vijay TV, Raj TV, etc.

She has been a television presenter before she joined the radio station, 92.7 Big FM, where she hosted the shows Big Vanakkam and Big Alarm.
