Karundhel Rajesh

Karundhel Rajesh was born at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, India. He is a writer, a screenplay consultant, a screenwriter, a translator, and a game freak, a person who is highly interested in books and movies from a very young age. At Coimbatore Institute of Technology, he completed his later education. It stands to be one of the most prominent colleges in Tamil Nadu. He is married to a beautiful woman whose name is Shree Vani, and together with his wife and son Nikhil, they stay at Bangalore.

His interest in films grew after he saw 'Jaws,' a 1975 horror-thriller movie. After that, he saw a lot of films in various other languages. In 2006, he started writing blogs at Scorpsay, a website where he used to review movies in English. However, in 2009 he felt the need to share his reviews in his mother tongue. Thus, he created another website, now to share the same movie, web series, and other critiques in his language, in Tamil. Soon his blogs began to be widely read by people as they were unbiased and highly analyzed.

Well, according to him, his name Karundhel is the Tamil word for a Black Scorpion and very appropriate for his new site as he reviewed everything with a sting. This further lead to his interest in Storytelling, and screenwriting, and he started writing an article on the screenwriting master, Syd Field in his blogs. From May 2013 till June 2014, his blogs began including the screenwriting nuances by Tamil films on Syd Field's book 'Screenplay.' He collaborated with his mentor Hollywood Bala. Mr. Bala was in charge of the book design.

Later, Rajesh also published an e-book on Lord of the Rings and Saravana Ganesh (Kolandha) in 2012, which was again widely read by the Tamil blog readers. His specialization as a Screenplay consultant and in Screenplay analysis makes him a gem to behold, in the Tamil Film Industry.
