Shabir was originally named as Shabir Tabare Alam. He was born in Singapore. Shabir is an Indian Music producer, composer, arranger, songwriter, vocalist, lyricist, singer, performer, and music director as well. His father belongs to Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India. Shabir preferably works in the Tamil film industry. He is the son of his father, whose mother tongue is Urdu and mother, who speaks Malayalam and Tamil. He started his career at a very young age of twelve years old in the year 2005. She began his interest in the music industry is by becoming a songwriter and also composing them at a very early period of his life. Shabir completed his primary and secondary education from his hometown. He did his under graduation degree in bachelors of music production and composition from SAE in Singapore.

Shabir plays various instruments like Synthesizer, harmonium, keyboards, guitar, vocals, etc. Shabir’s skills include being a self-trained keyboardist. Then he went to learn the Hindustani Classical Music. Shabir stepped into the music industry as a playback singer and songwriter. He sang two songs for the film Vathikutchi, which was produced by A.R Murugadoss. He also wrote lyrics and also recorded a suitable rap on the Raaga. Shabir also received great responses from the critics, and colleagues as well for the song Ari Unnai. Shabir also made a song for the Drums Sivamani, named "Yaaro Yaar Aval" from the cinema Arima Nambi.

Later in the year 2016, he became the lyricist a well as the singer for the Venkatesh starrer Telugu film, named Babu Bangaram Click to look into! >> Read More... . He is now working as a film composer in a Tamil movie, namely Sagaa. The song "Yaayum" from Sagaa, hit mostly in the theatres upon its release and received positive vibes from critics and viewers. The cinema Balakumara Sangu Chakkaram released on Dec 29 in the year 2017, which got positive reports as well. His music for Sangu Chakkaram won a lot of praise and fan following unexpectedly from the critics and audiences as well. As a playback singer, he sang five songs, in which three are Tamil and two are Telugu. Shabir composed almost five songs in which all four were in Tamil, and one was in English.
