Indraja is a popular artist from Tamil Nadu who has acted in number of Tamil and Telugu movies including some serials. She has acted in number of movies in other languages as well and made a great impression as a heroine as well as a character artist. Her performance as a strong woman in various television serials has given her a number of fans and a huge following.

Indraja’s original name is Rajathi. She was interested in the stage programs from school days. She learned singing and dancing, which gave her a great start when she entered into the Movie Industry. Indraja is a Film Actress from India. Her real name is Rajathi. She is the eldest among her two sisters. She was originally from Kerala and born in Chennai. She won several awards in singing and drama contests conducted in her school. Indraja is a Trained Classical Dancer. She has knowledge in Kuchipudi dance. She is getting ready on becoming a journalist. Indraja is also a good singer since her family is carnatic musicians. 

During her early days, Indraja was not really interested in acting. But because of her parents’ interest, it was a mere coincidence to enter into films. She has acted in both big and small screens in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. She became popular in SV Krishna Reddy’s Yamaleela, which ran successfully for over a year. She also performed in Tamil films Thadayam and Rajavin Parvaiyile in 1995. Both films failed in becoming a hit. But some of her Malayalam films were a hit in which she did the major roles. She also performed in some TV serials like Sundarakanda, Bhairavi and Valli.
