Tamil Movie Actor Nandha Durairaj

Nandha Durairaj is a Tamil, film actor. He was born as Govind Sendrampalayam Durairaj in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu in India to Rani and Durairaj. Nandha is a grandson of a former minister and politician, M. Kannappan. He has a brother named Karthik. They both studied at P.S.G. College, where he took B.Sc. in Computer Science. However, due to his strong passion for acting, he was unable to complete his graduation. He is married to Vidyaroopa. He started his acting career when Kalaippuli S. Dhaanu, a film producer, spotted him in a family event.

The producer asked him if he’s interested in acting and he gave his nod. He then shifted to Madras and took an acting course in a Film Institute in Chennai, with the help of the producer. After a year, he earned his diploma and a gold medal award. The following year, he starred in D. Sabapathy’s Punnagai Poove and Agathiyan’s Selvam in 2005. In 2006, Nandha was paired with Diya in the Tamil film, Kodambakkam. The film became a big hit, and the critics praised him for his mature performance in the film. This also marks the directorial debut of Jaganji. He later performed in John Mahendran’s independent Tamil war film, Aanivaer, which initially released for screening in Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. He then went on with his career and played as an Airtel employee in the 2007 action film, Agaram. Nandha was also starred in Ravichandran’s Urchagam, opposite Sherin in the lead roles.

In 2009, he played a supporting role in the Tamil romantic-horror film, Eeram, which was Arivazhagan’s directorial debut film. He earned a nomination for Best Villain at Vijay Award for his performance as Bala, a business person, whom Sindhu Menon’s character marries. The following year, he was seen playing the lead role in Naga’s supernatural mystery film, Anandhapurathu Veedu. In 2011, he played as an underworld don in the crime thriller film Vanthaan Vendraan. He later played the role of an IPS in Vellore Maavattam.

Nandha was later seen in Bharathan’s thriller film, Athithi.
