It was during that time, when Rambala was hired as a script advisor where he had to supervise scripts for Star Vijay channel. The premise of the show was basically parodying various famous movies and also making satirical comedy sketches on the current affairs going around the world. This was a first-of-its-kind TV show, not just solely on Tamil TVs, but even all over India. The show started in 2004 and during that time, soap operas were at their heights and Lollu Sabha came in as a game-changer, with Rambala at the helm as the director. The success of the show is mostly credited to the whole persona of Rambala, as he was a habitual offender of making hilarious jokes in serious situations since his school days. Hence the plot of the show and how it was to be depicted felt like a cakewalk for Rambala.

Rambala struggled hard to get this show on the air, and he did it with absolutely no big names attached and no big promotions either, the show saw its success purely on the basis of how well it was made. Lollu Sabha aired 156 glorious episodes with comedians N. Despite all the controversies, and a few apologies that Rambala had to make along the way, Lollu Sabha remained relentless at poking hilarious fun towards any Tamil star, regardless of how big or small their career was. The show successfully aired till 2007.

Since then, in 2016 Rambala made his directorial debut on the silver screen with the hilarious horror comedy Diluku Dhuddu, and went on two direct two more movies.
