Director Lakshman

Lakshman is an Indian Film Distributor and Director. Initially, Lakshman was a Film Distributor. He started distributing with the film New (2004) by S. J. Surya. He became a successful distributor for the film. He had plans to produce a film with S. J. Surya as the protagonist, Nayanathara, and Shradha Arya as the female leads and the film was to be directed by Selvaraghavan.

But for unknown reasons, the film got shelved. He then stood away from the Film Industry for a while. Hansika played the female lead in this film too. D. Immam scored music for the film. The film got a great response by the audience, and Lakshman became a hit director. He is now shooting another film with Jayam Ravi. That will be the third film of their duo.
