Renjit graduated from Narayanguru College of Engineering in Kanyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram with a degree in software engineering and completed his MBA from College of Engineering in Trivandrum. He joined Infosys at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, where he got acquainted with director Rahul Riji Nair. He had always had a passion for acting and had participated in several theatre plays in hi school and college. So, he naturally got along with Nair, who had been working on making his first short film “The Human Boundaries”. Since then the duo has worked together in most of Nair’s future projects, including the short film “Troll Life” which was titled the Platinum Film of the Year at the 2016 Indian Film Project.

Renjit also featured in the music video of “Mounam Sollum Vathaigal” (2017), which recently crossed over fifteen million views on the YouTube channel. His last performance was in a negative supporting role in Nair’s comedy drama “Dakini” (2018). Due to his terrific performances in his two movies, Renjit was cast in the role of the commanding chief officer of the king Kochi Rajavu (played by Suresh Kumar Bio coming soon... The movie is scheduled for a 2020 release. Renjit is currently shooting for his next film “Jalasmathi”, once again in a negative role. The movie is based on the ill practice of thalaikoothal, which is prevalent in some parts of southern Tamil Nadu. It involves the involuntary killing of the elderly (senicide) and is sometimes done in order to gain benefits such as getting employment for their children.
