Preethi Kamala

Preethi Kamala is a South Indian fashion designer, model and actress hailing from Trivandrum, India. She was born on 21 February 1986. She completed her schooling from Holy Angel’s Convent in Thiruvananthapuram, India which is one of the top most convent schools in South India. Since her childhood, she was inclined towards fashion. She successfully did her fashion designing course from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Bangalore. Preethi also is a trained contemporary dancer from “Code Red Dance Academy”. After graduating from NIFT, she continued her contributions to modern fashion though it is close to impossible to survive as a fashion designer in her hometown.

Later she also worked for various channel promotional videos, print advertisements, and did few corporate presentations. She also did short films. Her appearance in “Tattoo” created few waves in the Malayalam film industry. She did a bold and daring role which managed to capture mixed responses from critics, but some of them also appreciated her performance. Later she did a lot of television advertisements. Some of them were not just related to products but also included advertising for causes like “National Rural Health Mission”, “Animal Care”, etc. She loves animals and promotes the adoption of animals too.

She is a very strong and compassionate woman along with being a beauty with a purpose. Preethi also got movie offers, but she was waiting for offers related to some unique roles.
