He was born on 16 July 1994 in Calicut, India. He completed his schooling at Calicut, India. While he was in his school, he was more into music and acting. Although he wanted to chase his passion, he used to score good grades at his school. He used to write songs and sing them in school functions. He was appreciated for his voice. He was the part of his school’s drama team as well. He has participated in many drama contests and plays. After completing his schooling, he decided to pursue college education. He applied at the University of Calicut and got admission there. While he was in college, he used to be the part of his college’s drama and ‘Sangeet’ team. He participated in many competitions as well as college fests.

The college’s drama team managed to win prizes in many competitions. He has also worked in many short films that were directed by his friend’s at college. Athul Sreeva used to do modeling in his college’s fest and he also participated in various modeling competitions held at his locality. He also wrote many songs and sang them as well He worked at Pranah studios for a time being. He also worked as a model for local magazines cover. After completing his college, Athul Sreeva decided to start his career in Film Industry. At first, it was hard to get an offer, but after few auditions, he was selected to play a role of a supporting artist in a serial. While he was auditioning, he used to do perform at local bars to earn a living. He played in many bars and locality functions as well. After his first appearance in serial, his work came into notice of everyone and he was offered other auditions as well.

He played roles in various short stories. He became a sensation among the audience and his work was really appreciated by the audience.
