Raffi

Rafii is one of Malayalam cinema's most successful writers and directors. He co-directs his films with Mecartin, and the two have been working together since 1996. On the other hand, Raffi began his career as an assistant director for another filmmaker combination, Siddique-Lal, with the film Godfather in 1991. He made his debut with the film Ellarum Chollanu (1992). Raffi worked as a writer on films like Mr. & Mrs. (1992), Aniyan Bava Chetan Bava (1995), and Aadyathe Kanmani over the next few years (1995). Rafi made his directing debut in 1996 with the film Puthukottyile Puthu Manavalan, which he co-directed alongside Mecartin. The film was a hit, and their combination continued to deliver blockbuster hits one after the other.

Superman (1998), Thenkasipattanam (2000), Chathikkatha Chanthi (2004), Hallo (2007), and China Town are just a few of their film credits (2011). Rafi continued to work as a writer while directing films with Mecartin. Role Models, which he produced independently, was one of his 2017 releases. Raffi-mecartin wrote 20 screenplays and directed nine films. Raffi and Meccartin collaborated for 20 years, beginning in 1992 and ending in 2012. Raffi wrote scripts for four films (Ringmaster, Two countries, Role models, Professor Dinkan). He directed two films (Ring Master and Role Models), and he also acted in several others (Two countries, Ring mater, Thobama, Vikadakumaran, Sherlock tomes, Role models, shajahanum pareekuttiyum).

After a successful career as a screenwriter, he began his career as a director with Jayaram's Puthukottayile Puthumalavan 20 years ago. Raffi, who directed over ten films alongside his friend Mecartin under the moniker Raffi Mecartin, was first seen in the role of an actor in his first directorial effort.
