Sri Murali is an Indian cinema actor. He has mainly worked in Kannada films. He made his acting debut in 2003 with the Kannada film, Chandra Chakori. Sri Murali was born on December 17, 1981, to a family who was already linked to the cinema. He was born in Bangalore, Karnataka. S. A. Chinne Gowda, his father, was a film producer and his brother Vijay Raghavendra, an actor. Sri Murali tied the knot with his girlfriend, Vidya, who is a daughter of an hotelier. They got married on May 11, 2008, and have two children, a boy, and a girl. After his debut, he played a lead in the film Kanti which focused on disputes between Karnataka and Maharashtra on linguistic grounds. He played a college student who fell in love with Marathi girl and is embroiled politically.

His performance in this film won him a lot of praises and as well as the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor. His next movies Yashwant and Preethigagi didn't do well at the box office. Then in 2008, he along with his brother Vijay Raghavendra appeared in their father's produced film, Minchina Ota. In recent, he appeared in a debut director Prashanth Neels's film Urgamm in the year 2014. He had played the role of a mechanic in this film.
