. He is the son of the well known Kannada director CV Shivashankar. He has also worked in the animation and video post-production department in the movies.
He was one of the recognized 3D animators in Bangalore. He has also directed several short films and acted in television serials and feature films. He has been seen in a prominent part in the movie 'A Day in the City', in the role of an IAS officer.
The film was directed by his brother Venkat. His film A Day in the City got released in 2015 Feb and got good reviews from the audience. It was also Screened at Bengaluru International film Festival 2016. His upcoming projects include films like Akalanka and Kempirve.
