Santhosh Ananddram

Santosh Anandram is a highly talented person since he is just not a superb director but also a screen writer as well as a lyricist. Born in Bangalore, emerged from Kota, Udupi district in Karnataka, Santosh mainly works in Kannada cinema. He completed his schooling from Malleshwaram Primary & High School.

To complete his graduation, he obtained the degree from the Sheshadripuram College in Bangalore. After his graduation, he got offers for jobs from various companies. He was finally recruited to the company INFY where he worked for almost a year. It is rightly said, the only way we can do our work greatly is by loving what we do. Santosh could never work in the company peacefully because his actual interest and desire lay in cinema. Hence, after a year he resigned from his job and went on to making his career in the film industry.

Both are hit Kannada films and deserved good marks for story-telling and dialogue writing.

Till now, Santosh had emerged as a good lyricist and script writer. In the year 2014, he made his debut in film direction through the movie Mr. And Mrs. Ramchaari. It is a Kannada romantic drama film where the protagonists struggling through all odds finally were able to convert their romance into marriage. The movie was a blockbuster and earned a lot of money as well as high appreciation from the audience. It bagged awards like SIIMA Award for Best Director, and was nominated for Filmfare and IIFA Utsavam Award for the Best Director award. After this film, he achieved enough recognition in the industry. His upcoming movie is ‘Rajakumara’ starring Puneet Rajumara.
