Jitendra Parmar is an Indian writer and filmmaker. He is known for screenwriting for much-heard-of films like Housefull 3,Race,Naqaab, 36 China Town, and some lesser known ones like FeraFeri Hera Pheri, Horn ‘Ok’ Pleassss. He has also worked his time in the TV industry, with writing dialogues for comedy shows like C.I.D., a detective mystery series, and Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma, a popular sitcom with its comic take on the lives of a community of people.

The show was nominated for Indian Telly Award for Best Sitcom/Comedy Writer in 2009 and ITA Award for Best Dialogues – Comedy in 2014. Jitendra, who was born on May 4, 1983 in Chhatarpur and has currently settled in Mumbai and Bhopal, has also made his directorial debut with the Hindi short film Dabba De Ne Se Pehle last year. His passion for storytelling is what keeps him going.
