Gargi Mangesh Sawant

Gargi Mangesh Sawant is a new face in the Bollywood industry. She was born in Maharashtra on 24 November 1995. She is the daughter of a Police Officer, known as Mangesh Sawant and whose mother’s name is Isha Sawat. She completed her primary schooling at Hiranandani High School, Mumbai, and then she got into her second school Gopal Sharma Memorial School. Later she pursued her graduation from R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics in Matunga, and also from Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai where she did her bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Communication. The 24-year-old Indian actress and model also have two siblings: Ruta Sawant who is her elder sister and Yash Sawant who is her brother. She once said that her elder sister is her 3 am a friend and secret keeper, proving she is close to her.

Coming from a non-acting background, she started her career as a dancer at a very early age of five or six. She was a belly dancer and took her training from Urja Art Studio, Mumbai. With dancing, she also had a passion for modeling so she tried for modeling and appeared in photo shoots for many brands and slowly and gradually she gained so much popularity for her beauty and modeling that she got a feature on the cover page of a famous Marathi Magazine named Menaka in 2018. Other than this she is a pet lover, having a cat and she loves K-Pop, Manga, and she is a food lover. In an interview with The Cousin’s Show on YouTube, she said she learned a lot of things from the gorgeous Sushmita Sen and also said that she would like to work with her again.
