Born in Mumbai on the 15th of March, 1983, in Jaipur, Siddhant Karnick has made a niche for himself on the mini screen. He ventured into the performing arts via theatre, working on hand with Atul Kumar on a play named 'Voices'. He has a green belt in Karate and has trained under the very famous Yagnesh Shetty. He is also a dancer, and has trained in Hip Hop, Latin American, Break dance and Bollywood styles. Being part of the “Improv Comedy Mumbai” group, he has now added comedian and improviser to his list of skills.
At college, he majored in advertising, and practices bodybuilding as well. His debut on television was through the Yash Raj Production ‘Remix’ in 2006. He also became popular for his lead role in ‘Mahi Way’ under the same banner. Apart from daily soaps, the audience recognises him as an anchor and a voice over artist as well. He has given his voice for both movies and animation, such as Red Cliff (2010), Disney’s Cabala on POGO, Chotta Bheem and Storm Warriors.
In prime time commercials, he has appeared in ads for Appy Fizz, Raymonds, Maruti, Oxemberg, Reliance, and Idea. He has also hosted several shows, including WOW awards in 2010, Godrej’s ‘I am She’, Ponds press conference with the likes of Kareena Kapoor and Neha Dhupia and Accu check with Wasim Akram. Siddhant Karnick is an Indian model, anchor, dancer, film and television actor. He was born on March 15, 1983 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Later, he acted as Siddhart Raichand, an evil vampire in the supernatural series, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani on STAR One. In 2011, he did a fatherly role in the drama series, Kismat. He played as Madhav Merchant, the father of the main lead, Aditya Raj Merchant (played by Viraf Patel). One of the television series where Siddhant got so much fame was from the Hindi series, Aasman Se Aage on Life OK. He bagged the role of Akshat, ex-boyfriend of Meenakshi (played by Ojaswi Oberoi) and a dancer who always wants to win but he has an extreme performance anxiety. In 2013, Siddhant also appeared in Bindass Yeh Hai Aashiqui as Karan and recently, he played as Sagar Khurana in Rakesh Kumar’s Gustakh Dil on Life OK.
Besides making his name on the small screen industry, he also made his way to the big screen. He was debuted in the Hindi film, Yeh Mera India and played the role of Jatin Ganguly. He also did films like Blue_Oranges, Lafangey Parindey and Listen… Amaya. He also did short films like Project 11 and The Au Revoir which was screened at the 2011 Cannes and won in the Bodega California Film Festival in the year 2011.
Siddhant also made a special appearance in Aaja Nachle music video on Disney channel. Siddhant has also done QTP stage plays like The Prithvi, So Many Socks and Thespo Shorts under the direction of Thakore Padamsee.
