Mushtaq is a well known person in the Indian television and film industries. He has given more than three decades to Indian cinema and television. He was born in Baihar, Madhya Pradesh. Mushtaq has done some supporting roles in movies like Jawani Diwani (1972), Dharam Karam (1975), Sagaar (1985), Havelli (1985) and several others. He played a cameo role in Patthar Ke Insan (2002), which was his last film.
