Rahul Bose, who is an actor, director, writer and playback singer was born on 27th July 1967. He was born in Kolkata and then later shifted to Mumbai. His parents are Rupen Bose and Kumud Bose. He has an elder sister whose name is Anuradha Ansari. She is married to Tariq Ansari, the director, and owner of Mid-day Multimedia. Even as a child, Rahul had been interested in different plays and also participated in various co-curricular activities in school. He was interested in varieties of sports such as rugby, boxing and also obtained cricket training under Ali Khan Pataudi. He began his acting career in plays, and then in advertisements.
