Raja Hasan is a well-known Indian playback singer. He was born as Raja Hasan Sagar on December 1979 in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. He learned singing through his father, Rafik Sagar Sahab, and maternal grandfather, Allah Rakha Khan Sahab. Raja’s family belongs to Joshpur and singing comes naturally to him. Singing has been his passion ever since he was a kid, so his father and grandfather decided to train him to become a professional singer. One day, while his mother was watching television, she told Raja that she wanted to see him performing on a television show.

He rose to fame after joining the singing competition show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge, in 2007. Raja also performed in various musical shows and he was credited as one of the best performers in India. He has unique skills in singing popular Marwari songs. He also has a non-film album entitled, Yaar Mila De Re, which consists of songs like Sajana Jaaye Base Pardes, Muhabbat Raas Na Aayi, Nazar Lag Gayi, Pardesi Se Kya Aankh Ladaayi Aaja Meri Raani Tujhako and Tan Ghaayal Ghaayal Kar Gayi.

Raja would also like to try his luck in acting, if given a chance. He already appeared in the reality-based comedy show, Comedy Circus Ke Tansen. He also stated that if he is not a singer, he is definitely a cricket player.

Raja Hasan, aka Raja Hasan Sagar, is a sensational Bollywood singer. He is one among four children and was born to Jodhpur’s Royal singer's family in December 1979, in Bikaner city, Rajasthan. He belongs to the Royal singer's family of Jodhpur, hence has the singing legacy, and made Jodhpur singing international through his voice.

Raja Sagar was very much interested in music and took music classes from his father, Rafiq Sagar, and grandfather, Allah Rakha Khan. Raja Hasan Sagar is the real name, and then later it was changed to just Raja Hasan, as the long name was considered to become a hurdle in his profession. Raja started singing at the age of 7. He made everyone go crazy for his voice from a very early age. All the musicians were knocked off with his classical singing performance and blessed him to grow higher in the career. He has practiced singing for 18 years.

In 2007, he participated in the musical reality show, 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' challenge, broadcasted on Zee Networks. He won many hearts through his elegant, graceful voice, and became the runner-up on the show. He then participated in many musical shows, namely 'Ek Se Badh Kar Ek' on Zee TV, 'Ustaado Ke Ustad' on Sony, and 'IPL Rock Star' on Colors, and was the winner in all these shows. Later on, his talent was recognized by famous Bollywood music director duo, Vishal- Shekhar, who gave him a chance to sing the year's blockbuster song, ‘Mari Teetri', of the movie 'De Taali', and this is how Raja made his entry into the Bollywood cinema industry as a playback singer.
