Later being trained musicians, they founded their own company Rohan Vinayak Music Production LLP in 2010. They realized the diverse opportunities available in ad films, teleserials, and radio.

They worked together on 600-700 soundtracks for ad campaigns. Vinayak’s entire life revolves around music. A song keeps playing on in his car, on his desktop, in his headphones. He listens to music eighty percent of the day. But if there is one person whose live performance he would love to see, it is John Mayer. In an interview with the Deccan Chronicle, he gave a list of musical songs that are his all-time favorites. The song that is continuously on a loop on his iPod is Yed Lagla by Ajay-Atul. The songs that would feature as the soundtracks of his life are - Why Georgia by John Mayer, Moongil Thotam by A.R. In March 2015, Vinayak and Rohan, who had already done ad campaigns for KBC and Indian Idol, became a part of the much-loved Mauka Mauka ad film series, sponsored by Star Sports for the 2015 ICC World Cup. In 2016, the musical duo set out to record scores for Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s Nil Battey Sannata. However, the duo had previously worked on many short and ad films for Ashwini along with What’s For Breakfast, which won the 2012 Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2012. She knew their area of expertise and therefore approached them.

Vinayak was quite excited working with his former partner who knew the kind of music he liked composing. They composed the first song “ Maa Story soon >> Read More... ”, as a screen test. Once passed, they set out tuning the rest. It took them four months to record the entire album of the movie and to give it a soulful touch they used live instruments like mandolin and accordion. According to Vinayak, the lyrics are equally important as they give meaning to a song and something to remember. So he sat with the lyricist and jammed and altered the lyrics until the tunes fell in their right place. 2017 was another momentous year for Vinayak.
