Shrikant Sriram, profoundly known with the other name Shri, is a well-known instrumentalist, music composer, and music producer. Shri was born in Mumbai, India, and in the year 1994, he moved to London. Shri is an extremely talented musician and has mastered playing multiple instruments with acute precision. He comes from a humble background of a musician family. His father is a sitar player, and his mother plays Carnatic Violin. Shrikant is a trained tabla player. He has learned and played tabla for almost fourteen years from the Pandit Nikhil Ghosh's School in Mumbai.

Apart from being a professional tabla master, Shri has mastered instruments like guitar, flute, and bass. He is known for his heartthrob live performances. He performs with energy and computing-based performances. He plays electronic, acoustic, and electric. He creates a fusion of traditional Indian instruments and western music. His music album has a blend of bass, electronica, drums fused with the Indian ragas. Shri got his inspiration from Led Zepplin and Eberhard Weber (German Bass icon). Shri hasn't received any professional training in electrotonic music. He desired to learn and passion that made him learn from the people around him.

Shri is also referred to as ShriLektric by the audience. He says that his music is a British one but with the Indian accent. Shri was also a part of the leading Indian rock band Indus Creed, where he used to play percussion. He recorded his first solo music album in 1997 named Drum the Bass, produced by Swahney. Shri has done many collaborations too.

Shrikant has also composed background music for Bollywood films like Striker and Bara Ana. Shri has also won the gold and silver awards at the Goa film festival for a video that he created for Google Chrome. It was a music video advertisement. This video got nominated for the best original piece of music. The video got featured in the Canes Lions Awards. Shri has performed at big platforms like Glastonbury Festival in the UK. His performance in different parts of India was mesmerizing. The multitalented artist has done a project with filmmaker Raja Menon too.
