Shreya Narayan is an Indian television and film actress. Apart from being an actress, she is also a model, a social worker, and a writer. Shreya was born on 22 February 1985, in Muzaffarpur region of Bihar. The most astonishing fact about Shreya is that she is the niece of the first president of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Shreya started her acting career with the movie Eik Dastak in the year 2009. She had a small role in Eik Dastak and thus it went unnoticed. But this was stepping stone for her career in the Indian Film Industry. Later, she played some significant roles in Knock Out, Kuch Kariye. She also appeared in the 2010 blockbuster movie, Rajneeti in which she played the role of a journalist. It was in 2011 when she achieved real success. In 2011, she portrayed the role of Mahua in Shaeeb Biwi Aur Gangster directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

She even won critical acclaim for her role in Shaeeb Biwi Aur Gangster. She appeared in Powder, which was a mini film series produced and directed by Yashraj’s Productions. She played the lead role of Julia in the serial. Later, she did another short film called Kismet directed by Yashraj. Sony TV hosted both the films. In 2014, she played the role of Astha in Super Nani. Super Nani was well received by the viewers, and so was she. Shreya is a multi-talented girl. She even wrote lyrics for the song Sharam Laaj in Gulaabi Gang. Shreya produced a movie, Wedding Anniversary in the year 2015. She is also a social worker. She contributed to the Flood relief mission in Bihar alongside Prakash Jha. Shreya wrote articles for the Indian Economist on the topic ‘An Economic Model of Bollywood’.

She has just completed two movies, Syed Afzal Ahmed's Ye Lal Rang and Tigmanshu Dhulia's Yaraa which are set to release this year.
