Rajat was born on April 24, 1989, in Ladnun, Rajasthan and did his schooling from Bal Bharti Public School, Delhi. His two siblings Ritu and Vicky are also part of the film Industry. While Ritu has given hits in the Telugu industry, Vicky is waiting for his film, ‘Umeedein,’ to be released on the silver screen. The three siblings together have done Godrej Interio ad, after arriving to Mumbai.
 
Rajat won a National Award in 2011 for his Short Film, ‘The Finish Line,’ and the film was acclaimed. Rajat Barmecha was born on 24th April 1989 in Ladnun, India. Rajat is an extremely talented actor who works in the Bollywood industry. Born in Ladnun, Rajasthan, Rajat moved to Delhi with his family when he was a child and grew up there. He completed his schooling from Bal Bharti Public School and has always been fascinated with movies and acting. He grew up watching Bollywood and Hollywood movies. His dad is a businessman and supported Rajat in his decision to pursue acting.

At the age of 18, Rajat moved to Mumbai to pursue a jewelry designing course but eventually left the course in a matter of days as he just couldn’t stop himself from trying his luck out in acting. Soon, Rajat started appearing in various commercials for Frooti, Sonata Watches, Max Life Insurance and many others. He worked hard, auditioned for many roles and finally when he was 21, he got the breakout role in his debut film Udaan. He was cast as the leading actor named Rohan.
