Hindi Movie Actor Mohit Chadda

Mohit Chadda is an Indian film actor who even participated in Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj and since then he grabbed audience’s attention with his acting skills. He was adjudged as a runner-up in the contest and made his entry in movies. He hails from Bhopal. Now he has won a lot of hearts with his amazing performance in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. The journey was quite a long one for this talented actor Mohit who got first spotted by ZEE TV in the year 2004. While participating in the contest, Mohit had to undergo training in acting, speech, dancing and overall attitude, and perform in front of judges every week, followed by the elimination based on votes. Out of final 32 contestants, he landed up being the first runner-up and wished to become an actor in the film industry.

Although the reality show had claimed that the faces (mostly winners) of this show would be selected for any major Bollywood movies. But, such a thing did not happen at all. Mohit went to Tollywood for getting a break in films. His first break was as a leading hero in a movie ‘Ammailu Abbailu’ which had Vidya as his heroine. In this film, two actress Vidya and Devina wanted to cast a spell on Mohit. But Mohit does not care for two girls and never responds to them either as he did not believe in love. The film was based on five teenagers living in a society. Later, he got opportunities to act in another Telugu and one Tamil movie.

In 2004, a Telugu film ‘Aithe Enti’ hit the screens and Mohit did the hero opposite Namitha. In this film, he essayed a character of a boy who dreams of a girl whom he wants to marry and moves to Mumbai where he meets Namitha. In the same year, Mohit appeared in a Tamil movie ‘Adhu’ which starred Sneha in the lead role.

Mohit acted in this horror film, but it had a negative review and had flopped in the box office. Later he acted in two Hindi films. Even Its Hindi version ‘Naina with Urmila and Jessica could not save the film in the box office. The actor with a good look could have easily forayed into television as there is a lot of scopes. The actor tied his knot with actress Ishita Sharma in 2011. Her wife too had acted in Shahrukh Khan’s Dulha Mil Gaya; he is a gifted actor who even has a good screen persona. He could have been a leading actor in many small budget films.
