Hemant Mahaur

Hemant Mahaur is an established Bollywood Actor and a Theatre Artiste. Hemant was born in the year 1976, in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. He did his schooling in Hathras City, where he used to act in many stage dramas. He started out to act in skits at a very young age of six. His passion for acting was triggered by his father, who used to take his family to the theatre every weekend. After completing his schooling, he did his under-graduation at Meerut University in UP, majoring in Law.

He interned under the Theatre legends, Panchanan Pathak and Lalit Mohan Thapliyal, during his undergrad studies. From the year 1989, his stint in the field of Drama began. After studying law, Hemant applied for an Acting course in National School of Drama, in New Delhi. He studied there in the year 1995. Meanwhile, after obtaining his degree, he took up a short course at Sriram Centre, for a year in Theatre. Hemant Mahaur is now a name to look up to in the field of Theatre. He successfully completed his twenty-fifth year recently.

He has travelled the length and breadth of the country for staging several plays. After gaining the required exposure and experience, Hemant started out his venture, in a stage play. He named it as Mask Magic, and the company has been performing in various stages across India. Hemant’s talent is not limited only to our country; he has also performed along with artistes of Ukraine, Poland and The United Kingdom. Mahaur has also appeared in many off-beat movies in Bollywood.

Some of the movies he has been a part of include, Jungle (2000), Chot (2004), Agent Vinod Click to look into! >> Read More... (2012), Highway (2014) and so on. He debuted with the flick Shool, directed by E.Niwas. Yaara is his upcoming movie that is to be released in 2016. This versatile Actor has also ventured into Direction. In the year 2011, he directed the award-winning short film, The Kite. Hemant Mahaur is currently an Acting Trainer to several Bollywood Big shots and runs the Mask Magic Film And Television Institute Pvt Limited.
