Tushar Shetty hails from Nallasopara, Mumbai. He's a street dancer. He completed his schooling at St. Francis de Sales high school and pursued his degree in HR College Of Commerce And Economics. At the age of fourteen, Tushar started doing Hip-Hop. Dancing is his life and passion. He represented India at the World Hip Hop Championship. The finalists perform before a large group of judges. He had also started a group in his college with the name of "I am a Hip-Hop crew" He even had a tattoo on his left hand by the name "I'm a Hip-Hop crew." Right from his childhood, he had no interest in dance reality shows. But when he came to know about "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE," he did not want to miss this opportunity. He immediately went to the open auditions conducted by them. Also, He participated in some other rounds and finally got a chance as one of the contestants to rock the dance floor. It had been a dream for him to perform on a big stage, and the show brought the stage to him. After that, he strived very hard to win the title. He tried to overcome all the hurdles with his performances.

Fortunately, he became one of the top eight contestants. And that made him more passionate about success. At any cost, he thought that he should win the title. For that, he used to practice all the time. Sometimes he used to skip all other works to practice. Unfortunately, he got eliminated in the ninth round. Till his last performance, he tried very hard to achieve success. A little dull performance in the ninth round made the judges eliminate him. He worked as an assistant choreographer for a few dance reality shows like "Nach Baliye-6", "Dance India Dance-4". Now he's an assistant choreographer at "Dance India Dance season-6" and a choreographer at HR Street Dance Team. He had already achieved a lot but still trying very hard to achieve more success. His main dream is to work as a choreographer in Bollywood. He's waiting for an opportunity to work there.
