Devang Selani

Devang Selani is an Indian Businessman, who is currently the Chief Executive Officer at the business prospect ‘Task Papa.’ Born and brought up in Maharashtra, Devang completed his under graduation in business and commerce from Mumbai University and post-graduation in business administration from Welingkar Institute of Management. He started off his career with Zenta before eventually acquiring the position of Operations Team Leader at Tech Mahindra. Over the years, Devang has made a lot of progress as a professional, by working in the translation and localization industry. He currently serves as the Director at Athena Communications Pvt. Ltd. And the founder/CEO of Task Papa.

He has strong professional skills in Service Delivery, Service- Level Agreements (SLA), Content Centers, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Management. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi languages. In 2004, Devang Selani began working for a Telemarketing company and selling credit cards over the phone. Then, he moved up the corporate ladder and learned the core of the service business. In 2013, he founded Task Papa, and since then, he has created a one-stop shop for all outsourcing needs. He has been successfully building a knowledgeable, passionate, and experienced team under all domains. They are available to assist clients with any kind of task under any given circumstances.

He visualizes creating a higher level of high-quality supply of outsourcing needs. He also helps businesses in cutting one-time and recurring costs by taking advantage of the economic differences between India and Western countries. He has been working as a Founder & director at Task Papa for eleven years. Devang Selani initiated his career working for Zenta as a Customer Service Representative for a year. He worked for JP Morgan Chase in the Credit Card Acquisition process, selling Credit Cards. He then worked as a Senior Customer Service Representative for five months (February 2005 – June 2005). From July 2005 to October 2008, he worked as a Team Leader in sales at Zenta in Mumbai.

Then, he was a Senior Team Leader from November 2008 to January 2011. He was responsible for quality management, retention management, and maintaining quality standards as per Clients’ requirements. Devang Selani was a Team Leader in operations at Hutchison 3 Global Services (H3GS) for over two years (February 2011 – May 2013). He managed a Team involved in Risk mitigation for Vodafone Australia in the unbilled category. He also managed Inbound and Outbound queues simultaneously. He also ensured an effective balance between Push and Pull strategies was maintained.
