PallaviBagga is an Indian art director who has worked on the set of many of Bollywood’s foremost productions. She has been a part of many award-winning feature films and commercial movies. Pallavi was born in the beautiful town of Chandigarh to parents who were teachers by profession. Pallavi grew up pursuing her dream of studying design and working in the film industry.
The constant support of her family and her own drive to nurture her creative genius led her to join the Government College of Arts in Chandigarh. Here she built upon her inherent talents under the guidance of eminent artists. She often returns to her beloved alma mater to conduct workshops and interact with the faculty. Following this course she obtained her diploma in Art Direction and Production design from the renowned film institute, FTII, in Pune.
Pallavi met SumanMahapatra during her days in college. Their shared interests and great chemistry made them join hands and venture out into the Mumbai film industry as a creative duo to be reckoned with. They worked on several projects, which included popular movies, television advertisements, and short films. Their shared professional life soon became a shared marital life as well when they finally tied the knot after successfully working on several shoots.
They worked together on the sets of well-known movies like Jolly LLB, Youngistaan, Secret Superstar Click to look into! >> Read More... , and Prassthanam. They also worked on the National Award-winning short film, ‘Afterglow.’ The comic-tragedy won 8 Best Film Awards and was chosen as one of the best Indian short films of 2013 in the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival in France. Their job has them constantly moving around the country and working odd hours of the day. The couple enjoys every single minute of their hectic lifestyle and spends their days discussing innovations in creative design.
