Mena Suvari

Mena Alexandra Süvari, popularly known as Mena Suvari is an American actress, fashion designer, model, and producer. She was born on 13 February 1979, in Rhode Island, USA, to parents Candice Chambers and Ando Suvari. Sulev Suvari, A.J. Suvari,  and Yuri Suvari are her brothers, and she has a son named Christopher with her spouse, Michael Hope. She started her career as a model and appeared on several TV shows as well.

In the year 1997 she made her acting debut through the drama Nowhere. Suvari rose to prominence after appearing in the American Pie movies (1999–2001, 2012) and the highly acclaimed comedy-drama American Beauty (1999). She earned a BAFTA nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actress for this role. Kiss the Girls (1997), Slums of Beverly Hills (1998), The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999), Loser (2000), Sugar & Spice, Trauma (2004), Factory Girl (2006), Brooklyn Rules, Day of the Dead (2008), and You May Not Kiss the Bride (2010) are some of her other well-known film credits.

She has received the American Beauty Award for the Best Cast in 1999 by the Online Film Critics Society. In 2000, the Screen Actors Guild gave her the American Beauty Award. Suveri was listed as No.69 on the Hot 100 of 2005,  No.73 on the Hot 100 of 2007, and No.52 on the Hot 100 of 2008 list by Maxim magazine. In reference to her three films, American Pie (1999), American Virgin (1999), and American Beauty (2000), which all feature the term American in their titles, Suveri was named by Entertainment Weekly as the finest Patriotic artist of 2000.
