Connie Neilson’s full name is Connie Inge- Lise Neilson. Neilson is a Danish and an American actress who is remembered for her exceptional work in the movie The Devil’s Advocate. She entered the Entered the American Film Industry with this film. She was recognized as an International actress after her performance in the movie Gladiator. Some of her most successful movies include Basic, The Ice Harvest, One Hour Photo, The Haunted and Mission to Mars. She is known for playing the lead role in the famous television series the Following. Neilson was born on 3 July 1965 in Frederikshavn, Denmark.

Her father’s name was Bent Nielson and was a bus driver. Her mother used to write musical reviews and also worked as an insurance clerk. Nielson started her acting career when she was eighteen. She used to work with her mother in her early acting days. After that, she moved to Paris to work as an actress and a model. After that, she moved to Italy and pursued her career as a model. She studied under a teacher at Piccolo Teatro di Milano named Lydia Styx in Milan. Later she moved to the United States of America. During her stay in Paris, Nielson appeared in a French movie named Par Où T'Es Rentré? On T'a Pas Vu Sortir in the year 1984. This was her first movie in which she played a significant role. After moving to Italy, she was offered a role in an Italian Mini-series named Colletti Bianchi in the year 1988.

In 1991, she appeared in another Italian movie named Vacanze di Natale '91. In 1993, she appeared in the movie Paradis Absolument, which was a French movie. In 1995, she moved to the United States. She did her first major English movie in the year 1997 when she appeared in the role of Christabella Andreoli in the movie The Devil’s Advocate.
