He did his schooling at one of the prestigious schools in the country. Later, he went to California and attended Santa Monica Community College. He took around 16 years to finish college and graduated in 2020 with an Associate’s Degree in Humanities. However, he has been working in the film industry for a long time and has come a long way.

At first, he was seen as Malvolio in Shakespeare's sitcom Twelfth Night. Afterward, he appeared as the young version of Brendan Fraser's character in Blast from the Past (1999).

At a young age, Douglas moved to Australia to portray the role of an American boy living in Australia in a show named Out There.
