When Shahood's father learns of this adoption, he is furious and cuts all ties with him. Soon after, their neighbours also adopt a son. The children eventually discover that they are adopted. Yumna tries to find her birth parents. And she finds them and learns that they abandoned her because they were poor and had three more daughters to feed. Her adoptive mother dies, after which she returns to her birth parents.
