Jai Shri Krishna is a mythological TV series based on the life of the Lord Shree Krishna. This story takes place in the four cities of India which include Gokul, Mathura, Hastinapur and Dwarka. Every episode focuses on a different aspect of the lord Krishna’s life, starting from his childhood days up till the moment when he becomes the prince of Dwarka.
Some of his amazing adventures include the killing of a demon queen named Putana as well as successfully taming a venomous snake named Kaliya. The series also depicts about the time when lord Krishna, after attaining adulthood was successful in killing his uncle Kans, who always had some sinister plans in mind against Krishna and his birth parents The series also portrays the tale of his marriages to Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambavati and 16,100 other captive maidens after he became a prince and defeated the demon Narakasura .
Overall the serial portrayed Lord Krishna as the perfect son, brother and king to his loyal people. This television series was aired on the Colors channel from the 21st of July 2008 –till 15th of September 2009.
