The story revolves around Rajadhyaksha and their family. In this new generation, there is rare to see joint families. Everybody loves to live sophisticated in Nuclear families. And join families are not possible in middle-class families. Because they could think this would lead to many circumstances. Even the nuclear families separate themselves from the relations and stay disconnected from them. It is due to the adaptation of comfortable and cozy life. However, we can see some families still living in joint families in urban areas. But this story plot took place in the joint family where Grandmother lives with her sons, daughters, grandchildren.

Sumitra Rajadhyaksha, the head and responsible woman of the family, is the Grandmother. She is sweet, innocent, intelligent, and caring towards the family. Everyone also has the same love, affection, and respect for her. She is in a state where her decisions are kept primary and obeyed. Nobody stays opposite to her in any of the matters, even they have controversial thoughts. The story starts when she plans for her grandson Neil’s marriage. Even though the family suggests various plans and arranges for it, nobody knows that Neil has a different idea. They decide Neil marries Pradhan’s daughter Kartiki, and everyone welcomes her. When Neil exposes his wish, Pradhan stays to take revenge on Sumitra’s family. Neil lies Bhairavi as her wife to everybody, and he also ties the knot to her when Padmini and Sumitra force him to marry her. He also says his plan that he will get a divorce from her after three months.

Sumitra knows everything, and Neil is shocked to hear this. At the same time, the bank sends notice to cease the house unless they pay the loan. Sumitra sticks to the door house and shares all the memories as miseries. Prathamesh and Alok hire a lawyer, and he says that the bank had filed a case against them. Shreya is Bhairavi’s guest in the house. For a reason for the operation, Grandma allowed her to stay in the home. Things turn worse when Alok reveals the truth to the family in the marriage that Bhairavi’s father Janardan is the reason for the death of Alok’s wife. But Bhairavi manages and arranges for the wedding. Neel continuously reminds him about the divorce when she starts to mingle with the family and business. Later Bhairavi feels suspicious when she spots him with some other lady. She feels along with Padmini and Sumitra when the Guruji remains Pallavi’s curse and the danger waiting for Neel. Then he recovers Bhairavi when she gets kidnapped. An odd lady disturbs the family, kidnapping Shreya.

But Neel and Bhairavi rescue her. She then interrupts Neel in his car. Bhairavi visits Lalit 205 and introduces her identity. Bhairavi warns her when she focuses on disturbing Shreya. Lalit 205, a book in which all the answers to the problems of the family. Everybody searches for the book and suspects Bhairavi for the happenings. Neel then meets with an accident, and Sumitra breaks out her heart. Bhairavi feels for him when he lost her eyes. He regains his eyes when Bhagwat’s wife gives her eyes. After certain days, Bhairavi came to know that Pallavi and Neel love each other. She feels distressed and helpless. But she feels elated when Bhairavi and Neel spend some quality together. Life goes by, and they become closer, and here comes the Antagonist of the story. Rishabh tries to marry Bhairavi, and everyone arranges it. But he has a wrong indeed on Bhairavi and the family. Neel brings it to light and stops the marriage. This gains goodwill in the family, and Bhairavi thanks her. It is the story till the year-end. Here is the first season of the show and prolongs till Two hundred and forty-four episodes.
